Russ leads the licensing and compliance practice at Real Estate Digital. Previously, he served as President and CEO of Midwest Real Estate Data LLC (MRED), a real estate data aggregator and distributor that provides the largest multiple listing service in the nation.
Russ is known for his leadership in bringing technological advances to the multiple listing industry and has been named one of the nation’s 100 Most Influential Leaders in Real Estate for the years 2009 through 2014 by Inman News. Under Russ’s direction, MRED was recognized by Inman News as 2013’s Most Innovative MLS. In 2014 Russ was named to the first Swanepoel Power 200 (SP200), which recognizes the 200 most powerful people in residential real estate.
Russ recently served on the Boards of Directors for the Council of MLSs (CMLS); Real Estate Standards Organization (RESO); and MLS Domains Association (dotMLS). Russ currently sits on the Realtor.com, Supra, CoreLogic/Realist, and NAR MLS Executives Advisory Boards. He was a member of the Realtors Property Resource (RPR) Advisory Council and has served on the Trulia Advisory Board and Illinois Association of Realtors Strategic Planning Committee.
Prior to joining MRED in 2010, Russ was the founding CEO of Southern California Multiple Listing Service (SoCalMLS), a position he held for 17 years. During his tenure, SoCalMLS earned and maintained an enviable reputation for excellence in technology and service while membership grew from 7,000 to a high of over 55,000.
For more than 10 years, Russ was a member of the management team at Planning Research Corporation (now CoreLogic). There he held several key positions including Product Manager, Manager of Systems Design and Development, and National Installations Manager for a wide range of MLS-related products.
Shawn is responsible for Real Estate Digital’s Account Management team for rDesk® products. Shawn’s team provides solutions and consulting services to the franchisor, broker, MLS, and lender channels.
Shawn brings more than 13 years of experience in the real estate technology space with a background in business operations, project management, and product development. He has led cross-functional teams across multiple business units and launched national solutions for some of the industry’s largest brands, including RE/MAX, Coldwell Banker, Century21, and ERA.
Shawn is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, where he received
his Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy.
Kevin began his career in the real estate Industry an owner/REALTOR of a two-office brokerage in Jacksonville, Florida. He was also the President of the regional marketing co-op of the seven real estate firms in the North Florida area. Kevin moved into the real estate technology space in 2007 with Fidelity National Real Estate solutions (later becoming Real Estate Digital).
Prior to his career in real estate, Kevin was educated at Auburn University and Jacksonville University and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He served in the U.S. Army as a paratrooper; he also worked as an HR Administrator for Johnson & Johnson’s Vistakon division and as a sales professional for Pearson Education.
Kevin volunteers and serves on the Gator Bowl Committee and various other boards. He resides in Jacksonville, Florida with his wife, lbby, and their three children.
John is responsible for product management, development and strategy within Real Estate Digital. With more than 25 years of experience in software development and management, John possesses extensive real estate business, product, technical management, and software knowledge and skills.
Since 1996, John has served as Chief Technical Officer for Homeseekers, Realigent, Fidelity National Real Estate Solutions, and LPS Real Estate Group (now Real Estate Digital). During his tenure he has created real estate portals, online marketing solutions, contact and lead management tools, MLS systems, IDX solutions, and data aggregation systems.
Prior to that, he was founder and President of NetClassifieds, Inc., where he created award-winning products including the creation of the first website to host MLS listings, Homeseekers.com.
John worked nearly 10 years for Formula Consultants, Inc,, ultimately holding the position of Senior Software Specialist. In that position, he designed and developed mission-critical software solutions for Fortune 500 companies such as NCR, AT&,T and Unisys. John began his career in software at the age of 21 by developing a claims processing system for IDS Insurance while also working to earn his B.A. in Management Information Systems from the University of Texas.
Ira serves as the Senior Vice President of Data Products with Real Estate Digital, LLC, which has recently launched the industry’s first full-featured contract and license management system to assist MLSs and brokerages in the licensing, management and delivery of MLS data nationwide.
From 2001 through 2009 Ira also served as President and Director of the Real Estate Information Professionals Association (REIPA), an industry-wide organization dedicated to maintaining open access to national public records data and the support of national MLS and public records data standards.
In April 2007, Ira joined a Greensboro, NC real estate technology company called Listingbook (www.listingbook.com) as Executive Vice President. He oversaw the rapid expansion of their client collaboration system, helping it to grow to national status in two short years.
Ira has spent over 20 years as a nationally recognized expert in the field of real estate information systems, including software design and system integration. Between 1981 and 1996 Ira acted as Technical Director and Executive Vice President of BORIS Systems – an early MLS company of 140 employees.
Larry is the Vice President Data Aggregation for Real Estate Digital. His responsibilities include management of the company’s real estate listing aggregation services, which provide listing data for numerous RED broker and agent products as well as third-party companies that utilize RED Data Services for data aggregation. RED was previously known as LPS Real Estate Group and, prior to that, Fidelity National Real Estate Solutions; Larry pioneered the data aggregation role throughout, beginning in 2004.
In 1997, Larry joined Realigent/HomeSeekers and served first as Vice President of Marketing and then as Executive Vice President. An active participant in the early transition of real estate listings on to the Internet, Mr. Ross was responsible for increasing HomeSeekers’ available online listing count by 400% over a three-year period.
From 1989 to 1996, Larry served as the Chief Operating Officer/Regional Director for Century 21 Region V. The region was comprised of the eastern half of Los Angeles County, Riverside County, and San Bernardino County, California -- one of the top five Century 21 Regions nationwide that were consistently ranked first in “per office” productivity. Larry was responsible for 185 offices with 7,000 real estate agents and managed a corporate staff of 35. He served as a Regional Director Representative to the National Advertising Fund committee, which helped set direction for the Century 21 advertising fund of $40 million and was one of three Regional Directors appointed to serve on the President’s National Top Brokers Task Force, which contributed input to the Chief Executive Officer of Century 21.
Larry was a licensed California real estate broker and investor. He is a graduate of San Jose State University with a degree in Business Administration.
